Watch the clip and you’ll see why they’re so, so dumb.

I always found the classing/tiering so retarded, but i think you’re supposed to look at the RANK number for “general performance indicator”?

Rank Ceiling for the MP4-25: 1766
Rank Ceiling for the Vulcan: 1806
The grip (HANDLING) stat is unrealistic, in fact. The F1 car will have had up to 3.00g. I know it’s an arcade game, but I have reasonable expectations about the car I’m driving.

Compare the stats between these two.
Now compare these two.

Shouldn’t the fully upgraded stats be factored in as well? Looking at you, Impreza R205.
I’m surprised that it took this long to make a video about the power creep that’s been going on all this while (to the point where I lost all interest), but eh, I’ll take it.

That’s a cheap shot at Mclaren F1 team.

There used to be a time when Gameloft kind of cared about making a car perform similar to how it would in the real world, at least relative to the other cars. But that was back in the days of the original DS.
I remember downloading an Asphalt game on my phone, 5 or 6, and thinking it was shit compared to the earlier ones. And that was before I realized that apparently the car had infinite gears, because there was no manual option, no gear indicator, and yet the car would audibly shift through 10 or even 11 gears in a car with a 5 speed

Yep. Their car organization truly irritates me. In what world does a Ford F-150 supersede an Audi R8 e-tron? Gameloft’s, apparently.
